‘Fatal Attraction’ Trailer Explained

Paramount+‘s upcoming American erotic psychological thriller miniseries ‘Fatal Attraction’ has dropped its trailer.

Fatal Attraction is developed by Alexandra Cunningham and Kevin J. Hynes and the series is based on the 1987 film of the same name which was written by James Dearden. The series stars Lizzy Caplan as Alex Forrest and Joshua Jackson as Dan Gallagher along with Amanda Peet, Alyssa Jirrels, Toby Huss, Reno Wilson, and Brian Goodman.

The series will explore the fatal attraction between two people and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders, and coercive control.

Alex Forrest and Dan Gallagher’s affair take a dark turn when Alex refuses to allow her married lover Dan Gallagher who was married to Beth Gallagher to put an end to the affair.

The series will give the viewers a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ‘80s cultural touchstone. Paramount+ will retell the story through Alex’s perspective.
