1. Mojave Desert, California
The Mojave Desert is a desert in the Southwestern United States and was used as one of the filming locations of the film. Filming took place primarily around Shadow Mountains in the Mojave Desert.
In an interview with Radio Times, Scott Mann shared the details about the production and informed us that they did plenty of research and came across the abandoned B67 tower in California, the one that the best friends climb as seen in the film. They also constructed the upper portion of the tower on top of a mountain.
“We scoured all around California, and it was during COVID, so we’d just drive and drive and drive to these random remote locations, to try and get access. A lot of them had kind of radio masts and things at the top of these mountains, and you’re just finding the right kind of top of a mountain with the right cliff and the right sunlight positioning,” he added.
2. Four Aces Movie Ranch

Four Aces Movie Ranch was used as the Gas station, diner, and motel room exterior in the film. The location is home to one of California’s most cinematic deserts.
The location is used by the cast and crew to film in and around the ranch. This Ranch was used by the filming unit to film the gas station, restaurant, and motel room exterior scenes shown in the film.
In addition to the above locations, the parking lot scenes featured in the film were filmed around Lancaster, California.
