An upcoming American superhero film Deadpool 3 had finally wrapped up filming along with Channing Tatumi’s cameo role in the film. Deadpool 3 is set to be released in the United States on May 3, 2024.
Development of the third Deadpool film started in November 2016 at 20th Century Fox but was held on hold after the company’s acquisition by Disney was completed in March 2019.
For more than ten years, under President Kevin Feige “The Walt Disney Company” has maintained ownership of Marvel Studios, including the immensely popular Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) but after the 2019 acquisition and by $4 billion Disney solidified its position in the entertainment industry.
The character-choosing task was given to Marvel Studios. Wendy Molyneux & Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin joined as a writer along with director Shawn Levy. The film is the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a sequel to Deadpool film in 2016 and Deadpool 2 in 2018.
Filming of the film began in late May 2023 in London at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, and then traveled to Vancouver in Canada. Marvel Studios source, My Time To Shine Hello recently announced via an Instagram post that Channing Tatum who is the new additional cast of the film has already completed filming for his part in Deadpool 3 movie.
Channing Tatum is playing the cameo role of Gambit for Deadpool 3. Gambit who is also known as Remy LeBeau, is a fictional character part of X-Men comics. Gambit was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Jim Lee and first appeared in 1990. Gambit has the ability to manipulate and charge objects with kinetic energy by just using playing cards as his weapon.
