Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Kicks Off Filming in Scotland With Blockbuster 2026 Cast

BBC’s highly anticipated Celebrity Traitors Series 2 has officially gone into production, and the 2026 lineup is nothing short of spectacular. A total of 21 high-profile celebrities have touched down in Scotland this week to begin filming at the iconic castle setting, with beloved host Claudia Winkleman returning to oversee all the mind games, backstabbing, and dramatic eliminations.

As per mirror.co.uk reports, Among the most talked-about names joining the cast is American supermodel and actress Jerry Hall, who was photographed arriving at Inverness Airport looking effortlessly chic — sporting sunglasses and her signature flowing blonde hair. Despite her undeniable star power, bookmakers haven’t placed their bets on her just yet, with Ladbrokes listing Hall as the 33/1 outsider to take home the crown.

Miranda Hart Leads the Betting Odds

If the bookmakers are to be believed, comedian and actress Miranda Hart is the one to watch this season. Ladbrokes has installed her as the clear early favorite at 3/1, and it’s easy to see why. Speaking about the odds, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes noted that Hart’s sharp wit, likability, and strategic intelligence make her perfectly suited for the game’s deceptive format.

Hot on her heels is singer James Blunt at 6/1, while fellow comedians Rob Beckett (7/1) and Joanne McNally (8/1) round out the top four contenders.

Power Players and Fan Favorites

The full cast reads like a who’s-who of British and international entertainment. Actor Michael Sheen, known for powerhouse performances across film and TV, is expected to be one of the game’s most formidable players. Richard E. Grant — celebrated for roles in Withnail and I, Nuremberg, and The Iron Lady — arrives at 10/1 odds and was spotted at the airport in his signature stylish blazer, quickly whisked away by production.

Maya Jama, the high-energy Love Island host, arrives at 12/1, while EastEnders heavyweight Ross Kemp checks in at 14/1 — flashing a confident thumbs-up as he landed in Scotland, seemingly ready for battle.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, former member of pop group Little Mix, also makes her reality TV return, and has already made waves online with a playful response to the cast announcement.

The Full Star-Studded Lineup

The complete cast for Celebrity Traitors Series 2 includes:

Jerry Hall, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Maya Jama, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, James Blunt, Rob Beckett, Joanne McNally, Richard E. Grant, Ross Kemp, Bella Ramsay, Amol Rajan, James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Myha’la, Professor Hannah Fry, Romesh Ranganathan, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney.

Bella Ramsay, best recognized for playing Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones and Ellie in The Last of Us, was also photographed at Inverness Airport, arriving in a relaxed look with loose curls — all smiles as they were guided through by the production crew.

Journalist and broadcaster Amol Rajan kept things low-key in jeans and a puffer jacket as he made his way north of the border, adding a news media flavor to what is shaping up to be a brilliantly diverse ensemble.

How the Game Works

Once filming officially gets underway, Claudia Winkleman will conduct in-depth interviews with all 21 players — alongside the production team — to determine who will be secretly assigned the role of Traitor and who will serve as a Faithful. The Traitors must secretly eliminate their fellow players while evading detection; the Faithfuls must uncover and banish the Traitors before it’s too late.

When Does It Air?

Celebrity Traitors Series 2 is expected to broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later in 2026. With a cast this formidable and unpredictable, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most compelling series yet.

Are Miranda Hart’s strategic instincts going to dominate, or will a dark horse like Jerry Hall surprise everyone? The game is just beginning.
