Box Office Battle: Kung Fu Panda 4 Edges Out Dune: Part Two

After the release of Dune Part 2, Kung Fu Panda 4 took the box office by storm, fighting hard for the first slot.

Denis Villeneuve’s animation has grossed $494.7 million globally, with $208 million in North America and $289.4 million internationally.

Although the original film grossed over $215 million domestically in 2008, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing installment, Kung Fu Panda 4 grossed over $100 million worldwide in its first week. The film added several critical overseas markets this weekend.

However, some other films are also struggling to find the right footing, such as Arthur the King, which received mixed reviews initially, earning approximately $7.5 million in its first weekend, and Imaginary, which took fourth place as a horror film just received only $20 million in 10 days.

Some other films include Angel Studios’ Cabrini, released nationwide on A24. Love Lies Bleeding was released, receiving $2.8 million in its second weekend.

On the other hand, Love Lies Bleeding grossed approximately $2.7 million. However, Bob Marley: One Love held its own, reaching the $100 million milestone, adding an estimated $2.3 million in its fifth weekend.
