Apple TV+ has just unveiled the inside look for its upcoming new series, “Sugar” which is created by “Oldboy” writer, Mark Protosevich.
The series is coming under the directions of Fernando Meirelles and Adam Arkin and the episodes were written by Mark Protosevich, Donald Joh, Sam Catlin, and David Rosen.
Colin Farrell, Kirby Kirby, Amy Ryan, Dennis Boutsikaris, and Nate Corddry are included in the main roles as John Sugar, Melanie, Bernie Siegel, and David Siegel, respectively.
The inside trailer was released on 27 Mar 2024 and is 1 min 38 sec and features Private investigator John Sugar and interviews that examine the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the granddaughter of a legendary Hollywood producer.
The eight-episode series is produced by Matt Woodall with executive producers Adam Arkin, Sam Catlin, Audrey Chon, Colin Farrell, Scott Bennett Greenberg, and Simon Kinberg.
Chip Vucelich, Mark Protosevich, and Fernando Meirelles are also included in the executive producers list.
Alex Hernandez, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Massi Furlan, Eric Lange, Sydney Chandler, Bernardo Badillo, Miguel Sandoval, Jason Butler are included in the supportive roles.
Sugar is set to release on April 5, 2024, on Apple TV+.
