The wait to see Girls State is around the corner as the film’s distributor, Apple TV+, has just released the trailer of the film.
The film is helmed and produced by the duo of award-winning filmmakers Amanda McBaine and Davis Guggenheim, Jonathan Silberberg, Laurene Powell-Jobs, Nicole Stott serves as the executive producer.
Aurora Brachman and Khaula Malik worked as co-producers, while Brooke Taylor, Faith Glasgow, Cecilia Bartin, Emily Worthmore, Tochi Ihekona, Maddie Rowan, and Nisha Murali were cast in the documentary film.
The trailer, which was released on 14 Mar 2024, highlights the participation of 500 teenage girls calling from different parts of Missouri. These girls gather for a week-long event that immerses them in a cultured democratic laboratory.
During this event, they organize a Supreme Court to consider some of the most contentious issues of the day. The upcoming documentary film Girls State is set to release on April 5, 2024, on Apple TV+.
