Aaron Edward Eckhart is an American actor who will be seen doing some action in an upcoming Thriller Film ‘Midair’. The Golden Globe nominee Aaron Eckhart will be part of Midair and he will play a CIA-affiliated pilot who gets caught in a terrorist’s deadly games in Midair which will start production this July.
The Bee Holder and Concourse’s second production will be the production companies of the film. Steve Jones the Producer of Bee Holder says, “Working with Aaron on Chief of Station was simply a producer’s dream. He is focused like a laser, does his own stunts, noble like the lead character in Midair and he brings it every day from dusk till dawn…so thrilled to be working with him again”.
According to Deadline, The upcoming thriller will be directed by Magnus Martens and George Mahaffey will write Midair’s script.
“Aaron is a stellar leading man who possesses all the qualities of this character; honor, focus, and incredible loyalty. I look forward to bringing this heart-pounding, exhilarating story to life for audiences around the globe” said the director Magnus Martens.

Update: ‘Midair’ Finally Began Filming in Early 2026
Updated July 2026. After Aaron Eckhart signed on in 2023, Midair went through a director change, with Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn) ultimately taking over from Magnus Martens. Principal photography got underway in West Virginia in February 2026, working from George Mahaffey’s story about an ex-CIA cargo pilot whose flight is hijacked by a rogue agent en route to his son’s birthday. Concourse Media has already lined up pre-sales on the thriller, though no distributor or release date has been announced yet.
