It’s not completely explained in “Bridgerton” how Lady Danbury and the Queen became friends but we can clearly see that they’ve known each for a long time.
On Bridgerton, one of the most underrated relationships is between Queen Charlotte who is a gossip-loving and Lady Danbury. The two were supporting characters in Bridgerton but there’s no doubt they steal every scene they’re in.
In Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story the two are seen to have a Special Bond. The drama is set to focus on the union of young Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and young King George.
A new teaser has been shared by the official Bridgerton Instagram account showing the very bond of Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury in a new look. This clip shows India Amarteifio as young Queen Charlotte and Arsema Thomas as young Lady Danbury gossiping in each other’s ears and laughing. The clip also has a caption on it “We can come to the conclusion this formidable duo invented the word “gossip.”
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story consists of six episodes and is set to release on Netflix on May 4, 2023.
