MBS Media Campus is a Movie studio located in the coveted ocean-front community of Manhattan Beach, California, mainly at Manhattan Beach’s 1600 Rosecrans Avenue. It offers Cutting-edge technology, everything expensive facilities, and High-end amenities. The Movie Studio is used to film some scenes from the series.

2. Lake Powell, Arizona

Lake Powell is on the Colorado River an artificial reservoir in Utah and Arizona. The background for the helmet ceremony seen in the film with the Armorer on the side of a lake beach is filmed at Lake Powell between Utah and Arizona.

The ruined Jedi Temple on Tython featured in Chapter 14 of this series: Tragedy bears similarities to places such as the Texas Canyon near Wilcox (Arizona) or the Alabama Hills in the Sierra Nevada (California)

Neist Point is an iconic destination, with cliff scenery, and a lighthouse. It is the most westerly point located on the Duirinish peninsula. In Chapter 17, “The Apostate”, the Mandalorian Castle is actually filmed in the Neist Cliff Viewpoint in Neist Point on Kalevala planet.

4. El Segundo, California, USA

El Segundo is a city that is located in Los Angeles County, California. El Segundo includes the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Air Force Base, and dozens of Fortune 500 companies. Studious in El Segundo is also used for filming the series.

5. Manly Beacon

“Manly Beacon” is a massive pinnacle rising above the Death Valley Badlands. In the series the spacecraft arrives at the Arvala-7, a remote planet is filmed at the Manly Beacon, and to the right is the Red Cathedral at Zabriskie Point.

Kīlauea is an active shield volcano which is located in the Hawaiian Islands. In season 1 of The Mandalorian instead of a green screen, 3D images are projected,The lava field landscape depicted in the footage from the planet Navarro shown in the series is actually from Kilauea’s volcano, Hawaii.

The scenery of Planet Morak shown in Chapter 15 of this series looks similar to the lush green forests found in Hawaii.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Filming Locations

Los Angeles: Season 2 was also primarily shot at the MBS Media Campus studios in Manhattan Beach which is located in Los Angeles. This is the location where some of the major sets featured in the series were filmed, such as the Japanese samurai-like settlement on planet Corvusin Chapter 13.

Pamukkale is a town which is located in western Turkey, Noted for the mineral-rich thermal water flowing down from white travertine terraces on the nearby hill.

The scene in the second episode of the series’ second season in which the Frog Lady is seen taking thermal baths in some hot-spring travertine terraces was actually filmed in Pamukkale (Turkey).
