Palm Royale’s Palm Beach Club – Fictional Playground Filmed in California

Palm Royale is a comedy mini-TV series directed by Abe Sylvia. Its cast includes Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, and many more.

The new film is an homage to 1960s Americana, based on the story of Maxine Simmons, who becomes captivated by the extravagance of the Pam Royal.

However, being filmed in Palm Beach high society, the film is shot outside some essential establishing scenes. But, Los Angeles was used as a convenient alternative.

The Palm Royale will be released in the United States on March 20, 2024. You can stream the series on Apple TV+.

The film’s crew revealed on social media by posting on Instagram that most filming occurred at Paramount Studios.

Palm Beach locals may have taken some of the shots used in the series. Plus, USA TODAY Entertainment manages to find them all.

You can see some of the iconic Bath and Tennis Club, known locally as B&T, at the beginning of Episode 1.

Additionally, Donald Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in 1985 and 1994 was converted to a club, not a Mar. a-logo, which was bought.

Most of the interior filming was done in L.A., with some other locations being broadcast, including shots of Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach’s main street, and the Breakers Palm Beach Resort.

Filming was not done in Palm Beach because obtaining the necessary permits to film on location and promote it was too difficult.

Therefore, the film was shot in a studio in L.A. instead of Palm Beach. Movies and the best locations can be taken only by drone, which is impossible on the beach.

Milton Segarra, the CEO of Discover the Palm Beaches, says in an article on Fox29,

“50% of the people that watch a show most likely spark interest in the destination. And one in four will drive the decision-making to pick that place.”
