Chicago’s biggest problem, Douda Perry (Curtiss Cook), has spread across the city, and the murder of Pastor Jackson shows that no one is safe in the city anymore.
The first part of Season 6 consisted of only half of The Chi in 8 episodes, at the end of which half of the story is still under wraps.
Recently, the new trailer of The Chi Season 6 Part 2 was released. It is centered on big bad Douda because he now wants more control and power.
Besides, the trailer also shows in the trailer that the people against whom Dauda has shown cruelty have now started standing in rebellion against him.
Q’s sister is out for blood, while Emmett (Jacob Latimore) has denied being used as a pawn, but many of his followers are unwilling to support him in his decision.
The 30-second clip shows how much tension has increased and how people are now trying to protect themselves.
Further in the trailer, the narrator’s voice says, “In the southside of Chicago, we support each other.”
In the next scene, we see Emmett and Keisha’s night out, where all the characters are seen supporting each other.
On the other hand, Emmett is seen yelling at everyone in his restaurant to hide. A car was coming from the dark, which meant someone was going to shoot from it. It was easy to guess who was doing it.
Dauda slammed his hand on the table in anger. The trailer reveals what happened after Rob (played by Iman Shumpert) and Emmett’s attempt to kill Dauda failed.
The Chi Season 6 Part 2 will be released on May 10 on Showtime with Paramount+. Watch the trailer below.
