British actress Emilia Clarke talked about the filming of the climactic final battle of the Secret Invasion, which concluded this week.
While having a conversation with Marvel itself in June, the Secret Invasion star talked about the filming and revealed that it was the “best day ever,” noting that she “couldn’t stop giggling” while doing the stunts with wires.
Clarke said, “I literally was like, this is my best day ever,”. “I’m a theme park-riding kind of gal. Give me a trapeze. Give me a roller coaster. It felt exactly like that.”
” I just kept giggling. I couldn’t stop giggling. It was genuinely the funniest day I’ve ever had on set — ever, ever, ever. if I could just live in wires, if I could be in wires now — Oh, it’s so good. After I wanted to tell everyone, I just came back, I’ve done something!” Secret Invasion star said.
Emilia also shared about making “Superhero Landing” a success and how challenging it was to accomplish.
“You just stand there, and then you got to exit the screen,” she stated. “You’re like, ‘Well, I actually can’t fly. And I’m not attached to the wires right now, so I’m just going to have to do the dumbest thing ever and just look really mean.’ She said.
“And then jump. That’s exactly it. The biggest anticlimactic move. You’ve been building up. Been doing all the nasty talk. And then you just hop.” The British actress said.
Secret Invasion is a 2023 American Science fiction, Superhero television miniseries which is created by Kyle Bradstreet. It is the ninth series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which was produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise.
The series is executively produced by Selim, Bradstreet, Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Brian Tucker, Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein.
