D.C. Downtown Faces Road Closures and Parking Restrictions for Marvel’s Captain America Shoot Near White House

Marvel Heroes films seem to be delayed for some time. Marvels Captain America was shooting near the White House but is facing problems due to Road Closures and Parking Restrictions.

D.C. police informed that road closures and parking restrictions are in place downtown and the affected roadways are near the White House. Some will be closed from Monday at noon through Friday at 7 p.m. and some from Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. through Wednesday at 6 a.m.

The roads which will be closed from Monday at noon through Friday at 7 p.m. includes 15th Street from G Street to Constitution Avenue, NW, F Street from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, Upper Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, and Lower Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW.

Some streets are closed from Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. through Wednesday at 6 a.m. and will reopen during the day Wednesday after that again will close down again at 6:30 p.m. and stay shut down through Thursday at 6 a.m.

These streets include 15th Street from G Street to Constitution Avenue, NW, F Street from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, Upper Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW, and Lower Pennsylvania Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street, NW.

A director in the mayor’s office, Latoya Foster also mentioned “We have Marvel coming to Washington, D.C. I can’t give you too much about that but let me tell you we’re going to have a huge Marvel film taking place right downtown that you won’t want to miss out on.”
