Lakeview Hotel

The third series portrays the luxurious resort called Lakeview. The Atlas of Wonder, a trusted source reveals that most of the filming for the fictional hotel was done in Vancouver, Canada.

Despite being set in New York and Los Angeles, the production team created a replica of the hotel’s lobby, rooms, and other interior shots in a studio located in Burnaby, British Columbia.

This allowed them to maintain the desired aesthetic and atmosphere of the show while also keeping the filming process convenient and cost-effective.

The production team used Castle Green in Pasadena, California for the lobby scene outside of the replica. The cast and crew went to Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz New York to shoot the exterior scenes.

The Cecil Green Park House, located in Vancouver, is renowned for its stunning garden was used for the exterior of Nora’s office at the Horizen headquarters was filmed in Brooklyn, New York, while the entrance to the office is situated in Vancouver, According to Atlas of Wonder.

The filming of the third season of Upload was primarily done in Vancouver, Canada, but some specific scenes were shot in New York and California to bring the entire visual together onscreen.
