Tyrese Gibson Hints at ‘Fast & Furious 11’ Filming Delay

The film series and American media franchise Fast & Furious are the most popular among viewers, and many films of The Fast and the Furious film series have been released so far, which are filled with genres including action, street racing, heists, spies, and family.

A new addition to this film series, “Fast & Furious 11,” also known as Fast X: Part 2, has recently received the latest filming update; this filming update for Fast & Furious 11 points to a release delay.

Fast & Furious 11 recently received a new filming update from franchise star Tyrese Gibson, who plays Roman, pointing to a possible release date delay beyond April 4, 2025.

The upcoming film Fast X: Part 2 may be the sequel to Fast X because almost a year after the release of Fast & Furious 10, known as Fast X, we have now received a filming update for Fast & Furious 11 by Tyrese Gibson.

Due to the back-to-back conflicts happening in Hollywood (like the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes), the filming of Fast & Furious 11 has been delayed, and the possible release has been pushed to 2025 or 2026.

During an interview with CBR, Tyrese Gibson said:-

“Because of the strike, both strikes, there were some real delays in writing and kind of getting the film up on its feet. I’m hearing that we’re going to get it going right in 2025, right at the top of the year.”

This upcoming film is confirmed to conclude the main Fast & Furious franchise. The sequel is directed by Louis Leterrier, while it is penned by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel.

It will include the end of Brian O’Connor’s story…
