Oklahoma is a state located in the South Central region of the United States. Oklahoma was the primary filming location of the film, and the cast and crew filmed in and around the state and covered different places of the state.
The drive-in movie theater scene in Guthrie was also used to film a few scenes. The scene with Bill and Dusty “going green” in the film was filmed in Norman, and the scene where Bill gets his tire fixed and encounters Jonas was filmed in Maysville.
The opening scene in the film, where Bill meets Jo and the gang, was filmed in Fairfax. The water tornado scene in the film was filmed at Kaw City, and the scene with flying farm equipment also shot at sunrise on the bridge, was filmed in Ralston.
The scene in which Caravan is driving over a bridge at sunset was filmed at Arkansas River Bridge, aka Belford Bridge.
Driving scenes in the movie were filmed in Carney. Some portion of the scenes are at Ponca City, Pauls Valley, and Wakita, in Oklahoma, USA.

California is a state in the Western United States. The city is also another filming location of the film, and the cast and crew filmed in different places of the city, which includes Laramie Street and Warner Brothers Burbank Studios.
Warner Brothers Burbank Studios was used to film the scene with Bill and Jo inside the tornado, but the studio was demolished in May 2003 and replaced by Warner Village.
Burbank city in the southeastern end of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, was also used to film a few scenes of the film.
