This Series is directed by Stéphanie Chuat, Véronique Reymond, and Mia Meyer, and it is based on the novel The Flight Portfolio by Julie Oringer, and the novel on which the series is based is based on a true story of emergency rescue.
Transatlantic series stars Gillian Jacobs as Mary Jayne Gold along with Lucas Englander, Cory Michael Smith, Ralph Amoussou, Deleila Piasko, Amit Rahav, Grégory Montel, and Corey Stoll.

Marseille, France
Marseille is a port city in southern France. The filming mainly took place in France to keep things as authentic as possible. The cast and crew set up camp in Marseille and filmed in and around the city.
Architectural Buildings in Marseille used to shoot several sequences of the show, as you can see in the image above.
The capital of France’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region was used to film a few key scenes. Cory Michael Smith, who played Varian Fry, also posted pictures from the filming location.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Anna Winger, who is the series co-creator, said, “Everything in Marseille. The hotel in the film is the real hotel. It’s now an administrative office.
We shot at the real internment camp. The prison is the real one where they kept the inmates.” when asked if the series was shot in its entirety in Marseille.
