‘Those About to Die’ Trailer Explores the Dark Side of Gladiatorial Rome

Streaming services like Amazon Prime Video and Peacock‘s are bringing a new action television series called ‘Those About to Die.’

Recently, the first look trailer of Roland Emmerich and Marco Kreuzpaintner directed the upcoming series Those About to Die, arrived and features The Silence of the Lambs star Anthony Hopkins in his role.

It has been announced that the era of Gladiatorial has started in the first trailer, and Gladiatorial explores the dark side of Rome.

Get ready to watch Roland Emmerich’s epic sword-and-sandals series because it will soon debut on Peacock in time for the Paris Summer Olympics on July 18, 2024.

Red Dragon Star Anthony Hopkins is a part of this passion project, Those About to Die, whose role is still unknown, But from some sources, we have found that he can be seen as Roman Emperor Vespasian.

Peacock’s official YouTube teaser of Those About to Die is narrated by Hopkins and it introduces the complex and corrupt world of gladiatorial combat in ancient Rome with a little help from Roman Emperor Vespasian.

As Per Collider reports, The series promises great danger and excitement as it involves gladiator clashes, bloodshed, and political intrigue. According to its official storyline, the series’ story explores a side of Rome that has never been told before.

Dive into Roman Rajvanson’s dark game with bloody conspiracies as he runs the dirty business to entertain the masses and give the mob what they want most.

Note: To maintain the realism of the series, most of the scenes in Those About to Die were actually filmed around Rome, particularly at Cinecittà Studios, Cinecittà, Rome, Lazio, Italy.
