New York is the primary filming location of the film. The Irishman was primarily filmed in and around New York. A lot of scenes were filmed in Suffern a village that was incorporated in 1796 in New York. The Art Deco Lafayette Theater and da Nina Italian Restaurant on Lafayette Avenue in Suffern are some of the locations used in the town.
