Cinecittà Studios is a large Movie studio in Rome, Italy. This studio was founded in April 1937 by founder Benito Mussolini and it spread over an area of 400,000 square meters. It is known as the center of Italian cinema.

In the trailer of the series recently released by Netflix, you can clearly see the outer and inner scenes of Castello Ruspoli. The gardens of Castello Ruspoli and the San Pellegrino quarter were filmed, covering modern features such as gutters, cables, and windows as 14th-century Florence was transformed to suit the story of the series.
It is a 16th-century palace in the town of Vignanello and has for centuries been the property of the Ruspoli family, an old and noble Italian family.
Additional on-location filming of the series also took place in locations throughout the province of Viterbo.
In addition to the locations mentioned above, some scenes of this series were shot around Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
