This film is based on Wulf by Hamish Clayton. The film’s story follows a lay preacher who comes to a British settlement in the 1830s. After arriving there, his violent past soon comes into question, and his faith begins to be tested. He finds himself caught in the middle of a bloody war between Maori tribes.
