Louisiana is a sparsely populated state located in the Gulf of Mexico and noted for Cajun and Creole cuisine cultures, jazz music, Mardi Gras celebrations, bayous, diverse cultural heritage, and as the birthplace of American blues.
Many Scenes of This Film were shot around Louisiana’s City and Capital Baton Rouge which is mainly located at the Mississippi River. The Capital of Louisiana Baton Rouge is noted for its flagship university, Magnolia Mound Plantation, with its French Creole house.

“We were lucky enough to film in authentic Cajun villages and homes. Filming a winter movie in the dead of summer was pretty challenging, but the people’s good humor and spirit made it easier. I definitely will be back to visit.”
