Jonesboro is a city and county seat Which is located in Georgia’s Clayton County. The house where Bandit started their journey is not there anymore but was in the location are the government buildings belonging to the city of Jonesboro. North Street can also be seen in the film.
3. Mundy’s Mill Road, Jonesboro, Georgia
The two-lane highway is actually a rural road through the outskirts of town and was used to film some sense of the film. The Bandit and his Trans Am are going back to Atlanta and met a runaway bride Sally Field.
Arkansas Sheriff Branford was also there to catch the Bandit at Highway 54 and Mundy’s Mill Road. The Bandit decides to make a U-turn to drive the other way and save himself.

Macon Street and Rogers Street in McDonough can be seen when the Snowman is out on the highway headed back to Atlanta and still has to keep an eye out for Sheriff Justice.
The Snowman also fuels up the Kenworth, and one of his favorite dives on the way back to Atlanta also meets a biker gang and gets beat up while waiting for his food.

Overview
