Secrets of the Neanderthals is Netflix’s new documentary, whose directorial credit goes to Ashley Gething.
Netflix is bringing a new movie soon titled “Secrets of the Neanderthals” which follows Kiri and Ryo and they love each other very much, but Ryo gets kidnapped.
Plotline: Neanderthals are an extinct group of ancient humans who lived in Eurasia until about 40,000 years ago. Where did they suddenly disappear? Samples of human remains can still be found in the Neander Valley, Germany. It is said that they had knowledge of spirituality.

📍Zagreb, Croatia
Croatia is a Country in the Balkans; the Republic of Croatia is the Primary Chosen Location for Speak No Evil. Zagreb is the Capital of Croatia, as per 2019 census, its total population is 806,341.
The film crew chose Croatia’s northwestern capital, Zagreb, which is world-renowned for its 18th- and 19th-century Austro-Hungarian architecture and also noted for sites like Zagreb Cathedral, Lotrščak Tower, Museum of Illusions, and Dolac Market.
📍University of Cambridge, UK
East of England and East Anglia’s ceremonial county Cambridgeshire is another chosen filming location for the Secrets of the Neanderthals, filming also took place in Cambridge’s the University of Cambridge featured in the this film.
📍Bruniquel Cave, Bruniquel, France
Bruniquel is a Commune in France. As per the 2015 census, its total population was 611, which is located mainly in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region of France.
In the trailer of the series, you can see the aerial view of Bruniquel, France and after looking at some cave views, it seems that the film crew has also shot some scenes in Bruniquel Cave. Bruniquel Cave is an archaeological site near Bruniquel.
📍Gibraltar
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territories and headland, which is located on Spain’s south coast. According to the 2022 census its total population was 32,649. This area is situated on the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426 meter high limestone rock.
Views of Gibraltar are also shown in the trailer of the film because the history of Neanderthals is linked to this place so this area has been chosen to give a real background to the film.

Gorham’s Cave is a Sea cave in Europe where traces and samples of Neanderthals’ human archetypes are still found. This is an exciting place for filming. The cave exploration scenes were actually shot in Gorham’s Cave.
