American actress and Little Women star Meryl Streep Recently revealed that Nicole Kidman used to slim down every morning while filming the HBO series ‘Big Little Lies.’
74-year-old actress Meryl Streep, who plays Mary Louise Wright in the Crime Drama “Big Little Lies,” recently revealed that A Family Affair star Nicole Kidman, who plays Celeste Wright, loved taking a dip in the ocean every morning before filming “Big Little Lies.”
As per Pagesix reports, During the American Film Institute Life Achievement Awards Gala at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, when Meryl Streep presented an award to Expats star Kidman, 56 so she shared her former HBO co-star Kidman’s ridiculous habit.
Describing his classmate, Streep said:-
“Reese [Witherspoon] told me the very first night we were up in Monterey, before we started shooting, she said, ‘You know what she does?’”
She said that before filming the show, she would swim in cold water, because she liked to take a dip in the sea.
She added:-
“I said, ‘No, Nicole?’ She goes, ‘Yeah, you know what she does? She goes out at 5, before dawn, and she goes skinny-dipping behind the hotel in the ocean.’”
While explaining another humorous situation, she said that Nicole Kidman used to be surprised when the sea water was frozen during the winter days.
Streep further said:-
“I looked at Nicole, and I said, ‘Are you kidding me? The Pacific is like 48 degrees in March,’”
“Nicole said, ‘Yeah! I love it!’”
In addition to her cool fondness for Kidman, Streep praised the actress’s acting abilities and called her “a wild talent.”
She gushed and explained:-
“You’re like a mustang, a workhorse and a champion racer all in one, but one whose spirit they’ll never break. Never.”
Continuing her point, the actress further added:-
“Your list of credits and roles and good deeds in the world would take a normal person three lifetimes to achieve,”
“Your life and your resume challenges everything we know about how many hours there are in the day and how many places a woman can be at one time.”
She also admitted it is “hard not to envy” Kidman but that it is also “impossible not to be in awe of her.”
“When an actress bares all and leaps off into the unknown, she dives deep into the darker parts of what it is to be a human being,” “But I don’t think it’s bravery. I think it’s love. I think she just loves it.”
“And I think that’s the greatest attribute an actor can have — that blend of appetite and curiosity and recklessness. You have that, baby.”
