The cafe has become a filming spot for The Death of Bunny Munro makers, as the makers are seen doing set-up this morning.

They were seen coming in and out from a van, and some filming equipments, big cameras, and small tents were seen outside the cafe, which blocked the entire road.

This Hollywood actor was seen sitting by the window at Belchers Cafe, where he was looking outside.

Montpelier Road and Sillwood Street were affected due to the filming being closed off to traffic. There are several other places in Brighton that offer mind-blowing settings; seemingly, the cast and crew will also visit those places for filming purposes.

Who is making “The Death of Bunny Munro”?

The story of this latest series is based on a book of the same name by Nick Cave, whose screenplay was written by BAFTA-winning Somewhere Boy scribe Pete Jackson.

The series is being helmed by “Kalak” director Isabella Eklöf and is produced by Matthew Mulot for Clerkenwell Films and SKY Studios.

The executive producers include Nick Cave, Manpreet Dosanjh, Isabella Eklöf, Petra Fried, Emily Harrison, Pete Jackson, Ed Macdonald, and Matt Smith.

Matt Smith is coming in the titular role of Bunny Munro, who is a sex addict, door-to-door beauty salesman, and self-proclaimed lothario.

The Starway Acre star shared his pleasure in working with Nick Cave by saying, “To work alongside Nick Cave feels like a great honor,” said Smith. “It’s a brilliant exploration of love, grief, and chaos. At its heart a deep, difficult, and tender story about a father and son coping with loss and change.”

Petra Fried, the managing director of Clerkenwell Films, described the film as “a timely tale about masculinity, dark and twisted but also full of humor and humanity. Pete’s scripts brilliantly capture Nick’s creation, and we can’t wait to see Matt bring this singular antihero to life.”
