The 43rd London Critics’ Circle Film Awards honored the best film of 2022, as chosen by the London Film Critics’ on Sunday night, and the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards: Film of the Year award goes to ‘Tar’. Tar is a 2022 psychological drama film written and directed by Todd Field.
The film star Cate Blanchett also won actress of the year for the third time. At the 95th Academy Awards, the film also received six nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay for Field, and many others.
The Banshees of Inisherin is a 2022 black tragicomedy film directed, written, and co-produced by Martin McDonagh also took the other three main acting awards in the award show including Farrell for the actor of the year and Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan for the supporting categories, and Martin McDonagh received the Attenborough award for British/Irish film of the year, screenwriter of the year.
