Hulu Gets Lit with “High Hopes”: New Comedy Series Follows Pot Biz Brothers

Hulu has just dropped the latest first look for Hulu’s upcoming series named High Hopes. The Wheelhouse-backed business has a deal with a reality series with Hulu.

It is producing High Hopes with ITV America for the streamer. The series is coming out on April 20 on Hulu.

It follows two brothers who run their weed business in a new age of legal cannabis in Los Angeles.

Jimmy Kimmel, Scott Lonker, Ben Steinbauer, Tim Cohen-Laurie, and Karl Holland serve as the executive produced for the upcoming series.

The 0.31-second teaser trailer was released on 18 March 2024 and shows two brothers who run one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood.

The show is similar to Yellowstone but for cannabis fans. It will stream on Hulu under “High Hopes” with six episodes, premiering on April 20.

The official Synopsis includes “High Hopes is a workplace reality series following Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka, and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights.”

“As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder!”

“This season builds to their biggest day of the year—4.20—as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for or will their hopes go up in smoke?”
