Our favorite, Adam Scott, has shed light on the release timeline of the second season of the ‘Severance’ show.
Ever since season 1 started, we have been waiting to see season 2, and now, according to the leading star of Apple TV+ ‘Severance,’ we will see season 2 soon.
While having a conversation with THR, the show’s leading character, Adam Scott, revealed that we will be seeing season 2 soon.
During the conversation, Adam did not reveal much about the release date, but his words suggested that the new season was coming soon.
The interviewer asked Adam, “I read that filming just wrapped on Severance‘s highly anticipated second season. What can you share about it, or how do you think people will react?
The actor replied, “I wish I could tell you and everybody about what’s coming up because it’s going to be so much fun.”
“I can’t wait for people to see it, but I can’t say a word, but it’ll finally be coming out in the somewhat near future and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. That’s basically it. It was so much fun to make.”
The interviewer added, “I and many other Severance fans will be patiently waiting.“
“Well, your patience doesn’t have to hold on too much longer,” Adam replied.
Is the Filming of ‘Severne’ season 2 still going on?
No, the filming has concluded in the last days of April 2024. First, it was announced by Carol Deelay, who serves as the costume designer.
He shared the news on his Instagram story with a picture of the clapperboard of Severance season 2 and wrote, “It’s a wrap on season 2.”
Scott also approved the news of the Up to People; He stated, “We have” completed the filming for the second season.
He added, “Our core cast is unbelievable already, but we have some just great people coming in for season two that I can’t wait for everyone to see.,”
While announcing season 2 director and executive producer Ben Stiller stated, “It’s really exciting to see the response from people who are loving the show — and the level of fan engagement,”
“It has been a long road bringing Severance to television. I first read Dan’s pilot over five years ago. It has always been a multi-season story, and I’m really happy we get to continue it.”
What is engaged in making ‘Severne’ season 2?
Ben Stiller, who also led the first episode, directed the second one, and the story was written by Dan Erickson and Mohamad El Masri.
Apart from Adam, Alia Shawkat, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, Gwendoline Christie, Merritt Wever, John Turturro, Britt Lower, and returning back in their reprise role.
