Disney+ has just dropped the trailer for the 14th season of Doctor Who, which will be released on BBC and Disney+.
Russell T Davies is leading the series who also directed five more series. Jodie Whittaker, Peter Capaldi, Pearl Mackie, Matt Smith, David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Ncuti Gatwa are starring in the series.
Whereas, Jemma Redgrave, Bonnie Langford, Ruth Madeley, and Yasmin Finney are coming back in their respective roles as Kate Stewart, Mel Bush, and Shirley Bingham.
The two minutes trailer was released on 22 Mar 2024 and features Gatwa and Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday as they journey through time and space in the TARDIS, making stops in the 1960s, Regency-era England (“Oh my, Bridgerton!“), when the dinosaurs walked the Earth and more
The trailer also offers a glimpse at the Doctor and Ruby’s journey across the cosmos, where they will explore the groovy sixties, the Regency era in England, war-torn futures, and more.
While watching a trailer, Ruby says, “Is that a monster?” when the Doctor replies: “No, don’t be silly, there’s no such thing as monsters. It’s just creatures you haven’t met yet.”
The trailer also features some guest characters, including Bonnie Langford as fan-favorite character Melanie Bush and the return of Anita Dobson, Jemma Redgrave, Yasmin Finney, Michelle Greenidge, and Angela Wynter.
The 14th season will be released on 10 May 2024 on BBC One in the UK and on Disney+.
