Behind the Scenes: Filming Clint Eastwood’s ‘Juror No. 2’ Puts Pooler on the Map

The film Juror No. 2 which is directed by Clint Eastwood we will put Pooler on the map.

According to WJCL 22 News, they got an inside look, and Pooler Chamber of Commerce President Courtney Rollins stayed by during the filming.

Rawlins said, “It was so great to kind of see the change, which is fun, right, having your office in a movie.”

David Williams is serving as key assistant location manager. He covered the building floor with cardboard to protect it. He removed the staff’s personal belongings and stored them in boxes.

Rawlins said, “Even down to the computer screens. They did use my chair, though.” “There’s a fun picture of Mr. Eastwood sitting right there.”

The staff had to go out during the filming, but this did not cause any problems in their work.

“It puts Pooler on the map. We’re already working to do that and become a destination city,” said Rawlins. “A lot of people following Clint Eastwood, follow him, and want to be in buildings he was in.”

And getting the chamber’s permission for the film was also not an easy thing.

Rawlins said, “We just thought for our city, for our visitors, and for our businesses that it would be a win-win situation.”

Directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Jonathan Abrams, Juror No. 2 is a thriller film. The film stars are Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette.

In June 2023, the filming of Juror No. 2 started, including Savannah, Georgia, and Los Angeles.
