La Fortuna is a San Carlos and a small town in Costa Rica. It is mainly noted for its La Catarata de la Fortuna waterfall, along with several resorts with natural hot springs temperatures. La Fortuna is also known as a gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park, which includes two volcanoes. Volcano and airport scenes featured in this movie were actually filmed around La Fortuna, Costa Rica.
📍Sarapiqui, Costa Rica
Waterfall and Bridge Scenes are taped around Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui’s authentic locations. It is one of the last places to see the endangered Green Macaw, while Sarapiquí canton’s district, Puerto Viejo, is located in the Heredia province of Costa Rica.
