The White Lotus season 2 was filmed on location in Sicily, an Italian island region in the Mediterranean Sea, halfway across the world from the Hawaii-set first season of White lotus. Exteriors were filmed in Taormina, Palermo, Noto, and the neighboring Ionian Sea.

Other bits were shot at the Castello degli Schiavi in the coastal town of Fiumefreddo as well as the beachside La Cambusa restaurant in Giardini Naxos.
