Der perfekte Urlaub, also known as The Perfect Vacation, is a 2026 German comedy and the sequel to the 2019 hit Das perfekte Geheimnis (The Perfect Secret).
It was written and directed by Bora Dagtekin. Elyas M’Barek, Karoline Herfurth, Florian David Fitz, Jella Haase, Frederick Lau, Wotan Wilke Möhring and Jessica Schwarz return, and Diana Amft joins the group as Maus. The film begins a few months after the dinner game that blew up the friends’ secrets in the first movie. To fix their strained friendships, the group goes on a short trip to the south.
The holiday is anything but relaxing, because old problems and new secrets follow them, and the trip ends up in a Spanish holiday club. Nothing goes to plan, and the friends must find out if their bonds can survive another round of chaos.

The shoot took place on Mallorca in autumn 2025. Mallorca Magazin reported on November 10, 2025 that filming had already been running for several weeks, and Vodafone said the shoot wrapped in early December 2025. Some sites give the exact dates as September 22 to December 12, 2025, but we could not find an official source for them, so please treat them as reports. 📍Camp de Mar, Mallorca
Camp de Mar is a holiday resort in the southwest of the island, in the municipality of Andratx. It has a sheltered bay, a sandy beach and hotels close to the water. Promiflash calls a hotel near Camp de Mar the main set, and Mallorca Magazin says it was used for big group scenes with hundreds of extras. That fits the story, since the friends end up at a holiday club. The hotel has not been named, so we cannot say which one it is.

Artà is an old town in the northeast of Mallorca, with narrow streets, stone houses and quiet countryside. Filmstarts lists Artà as a filming location and links it to the finca, or country house, from the first film. Promiflash also mentions a finca near Artà. We do not know which scenes were shot there, and the exact property has not been named.
📍Cala Llombards and Porto Cristo, Mallorca
Cala Llombards is a small bay near Santanyí in the southeast, known for clear blue water, pale sand, pine trees and rocky cliffs. Filmstarts and Promiflash both list it, and Promiflash also names Porto Cristo on the east coast. Neither source says which scenes were filmed there. Some websites link the bay to a boat trip, but we found no proof, so please treat that as a guess.
📍Palma Airport and Palma, Mallorca
Scenes were also shot at Palma Airport, in the arrivals area, according to Mallorca Magazin. An airport is the natural starting point for a holiday story, and the island’s main airport is where most visitors land. Promiflash adds that parts of Palma’s city center were used too, but the exact streets have not been shared. Der perfekte Urlaub Behind the Scenes
The cast and crew shared a few moments on social media, but we could not open Instagram to find direct post links. Here is what the news reports say they posted.
Elyas M’Barek announced the shoot on Instagram with the line, “Wir sind zurück! Und jetzt knallt’s auch auf Malle” (“We’re back! And now it’s kicking off in Mallorca too”), as quoted by Promiflash. When filming ended, he shared another post of the cast in summer outfits with luggage, according to Vodafone.
Bora Dagtekin posted Instagram Stories that showed the cast on a boat and during a party scene, and he also shared a post about the wrap. Diana Amft appeared in a cast photo that came out in December 2025, which was how fans first saw her in the group.
A woman who worked as an extra told Mallorca Magazin that about 300 extras were on set. She sat at the table next to the stars and got a photo with Elyas M’Barek. She said the actors were “super nett und sehr nahbar” (“super nice and very approachable”), and she played nine hours of Uno between takes. She also signed a non-disclosure agreement, so she could not talk about the scenes.
Karoline Herfurth said that filming on the island helped her understand why people fly south for the sun. Jessica Schwarz showed her around Mallorca during breaks, with stops at markets, beaches and restaurants, as shared by Promiflash.
