Ahsoka is a new show that is soon going to hit Disney+ based on Star Wars movies and also a spin-off of another show called “The Mandalorian”.
“Ahsoka” takes place in the same timeline as “The Mandalorian”, after the events of the 1983 film”Return of the Jedi”.

Ahsoka is searching for some remaining knowledgeable about the Jedi. The trailer further shows people are engaged in a battle.

In the upcoming season, we’re in for some exciting changes as some of our favorite Star Wars characters are getting new faces! The latest teaser for the show reveals that Natasha Liu Bordizzo will be taking over as Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian warrior and artist, while Mary Elizabeth Winstead steps into the role of Hera Syndulla, the ace pilot and Rebel general.

Update: ‘Ahsoka’ Season 1 Was a Hit, But Season 2 Won’t Arrive Until Early 2027

Ahsoka‘s first season premiered on Disney+ in 2023 to strong reviews — 85% with critics on Rotten Tomatoes — and consistently landed in Nielsen’s top 10 streaming originals, later winning a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy. Season 2 has faced a long road since: Lucasfilm didn’t greenlight it until January 2024, and the death of actor Ray Stevenson in 2023 forced a recasting of his character that wasn’t resolved until Rory McCann was announced in January 2025. Disney confirmed at its May 2026 upfronts that Ahsoka season 2 will now premiere in early 2027 — nearly four years after season one — with filming having begun in April 2025 and Rosario Dawson still attached in the title role.
