Karate Kid: Legends is a new upcoming American martial arts drama film by Sony Pictures Releasing. Its directorial Credit goes to Jonathan Entwistle and writer Rob Lieber Penned it. This is the 6th film in The Karate Kid franchise, following The Karate Kid (2010).
Like previous films, Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio are back in a new movie! A new kid named Ben Wang who plays the role of Li Fong is the main star.
The story follows Li Fong, a kung fu expert who moves to New York City three years after the Cobra Kai events. There, a local karate champ doesn’t like him, so Li decides to join the biggest karate competition. With help from Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso, he trains hard to prove himself.

Netflix’s upcoming Release Karate Kid: Legends was entirely filmed in the USA, particularly around New Jersey. The Principal photography officially began in May 2023 and continued till June 2023. Filming was underway in various locations in New Jersey, including Jersey City, Hoboken, Bayonne, Paterson, Linden, Elizabeth, and Edison.

Most of the karate class scenes shown in this film were filmed in the Tengwang Pavilion. In the beginning, when the main character of the film was shown doing karate, it was set in a school with a Chinese structure, all the interior and exterior scenes were actually filmed in Tengwang Pavilion Tower.
