Netflix’s upcoming Italian drama series ‘The Life You Wanted’ originalt titled ‘La vita che volevi’ is directed by Italian writer, scriptwriter, and director Ivan Cotroneo.
The series staring Vittoria Schisano, Giuseppe Zeno, Pina Turco, Alessio Lapice and Nicola Bello.
The Life You Wanted is filmed in Filmed in Lecce and Naples.
Netflix recently dropped the official trailer of the series that hints at a complex emotional journey for Gloria, with potential secrets and difficult choices.
What The Life You Wanted is about?
The Life You Wanted centers around Gloria, a transgender woman who believes she has found peace and happiness in Lecce.
She started a new life and opens a small travel agency. She thinks that now everything will be fine but then everything in his life goes upside down when his university friend Marina suddenly appears in front of her.
But Marina did not come alone but also brought two children with her and she was pregnant with the third one.
Gloria wants to stay away from Marina because she reminds her of things from her past that Gloria wanted to forget. Watch the trailer below:
The official Synopsis says, “The Life You Wanted discusses the happiness that we assume we want, and also the unexpected happiness that upends our lives. This is the experience of Gloria, the protagonist of the series.”
No release date of The Life You Wanted has been announced yet but is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2024.
