Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to return to Netflix.
Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, of Archewell Productions are working on two new non-fiction series for Netflix.
Recently, rumors have been swirling that Markle’s highly anticipated cooking show will be held on a cannabis farm, which is a false rumor.
The source was revealed on Page Six on Wednesday with the association’s help, which said, “The show is not filmed on or near any cannabis farm.”
Both couple, formerly known as Duke and Duchess, shared in a statement, “Our lives, both independent of each other and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.”
Added, “Through our work with diverse communities and their environments and by shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.”
The source also clarified that the film was shot at a “private residence” and that “anything that seems otherwise is fabricated fodder.”
On the other hand, one of the insiders confirmed that other allegations about ganja gossip were also false rumors.
Meghan Markle, also known as The Duchess of Sussex, is an American member of the British royal family and a talented former actress.
Is Meghan Markle’s New Netflix Show Taking Place on a Cannabis Farm?
Meghan and Harry were in the headlines for their new initiatives a few days ago.
Meghan Markle founded American Riviera Orchard, a lifestyle brand, earlier, but now it has been revealed that she is returning to OTT.
According to the latest report, it was revealed that they were shooting at a $5 million home in Montecito, California, owned by Tom and Sherry Cipolla.
Meanwhile, the 14-acre agricultural property belongs to the Van Wingerden family, who are famous for supplying legal cannabis.
What is the Cannabis Farm Controversy?
David and Cindy Van Wingerden own the cannabis farm, also known as Farmland. In 2015, they converted their flower farm into a marijuana mecca.
Since that time, they have been engaged in selling cannabis flowers and pre-made cannabis joints.
Recently, it was also revealed that the operation of hemp farms is creating problems for neighbors as they are bothered by the pungent weed smell polluting the air.
More than 2,340 complaints about pollution have been filed from 2018 to 2022, the Daily Mail reports.
Meghan Markle’s new show is based on “The Duchess of Sussex Celebrates the Joys of Cooking, Gardening, Entertaining and Friendship.”
The exception is where filming may offend the local community.
Last September, landlords around the area brought a lawsuit against two weed farms.
“The neighborhood surrounding their property has a thick, heavy, strong stench of cannabis on a near daily basis,” the lawsuit states.
Most people said that the smell of weed was bothering them. Some people are having problems breathing, and some are experiencing headaches and nausea.
Local author and journalist Ann Louise Bardach revealed that the smell coming from her garden was “like a few dozen skunks coming out at the same time.”
“And it just hangs in the air 24/7 on some days,” she said.
“Some residents have respiratory illnesses now, asthma and weepy eyes,” she explained.
“It’s a bummer, as they say.”
