Matt Palmer directed the newest horror film, Fear Street. It is based on three movies made in 1994, 1978, and 1966 and pays homage to series like Scream and Friday the 13th.
The project was originally conceived by R.L. Lewis following the successful Fear Street Trilogy series.
It was listed as the beginning of a larger anthology franchise that would be an adaptation of Stine’s novel, The Prom Queen.

Although the cast of Fear Street has not yet been announced, Katherine Waterston will appear alongside award-winners Lili Taylor and Chris Klein.
Newcomers include Suzanna Son, best known for her role in Sean Baker’s Red Rocket, followed by India Fowler, best known for The Amazing Mr. Blunden.
The Fear Street: Prom Queen” also features stars like Fina Strazza, David Iacono, and Ella Rubin, reported by Screenrant.

It is an American horror film written by American novelist R. L. Lewis, based on Stine’s book series of the same name.
Executive producers are Yvonne Bernard, Joan Waricha, and Jane Stine, while Caroline Pitofsky is managing the film for Chernin Entertainment.
Peter Chernin, Geno Topping, and Corey Adelson served as producers.

Netflix’s post shows several BTS scenes as the cast and crew prepare to shoot the latest Fear Street series.
The new upcoming series will be the fourth installment of Jo Le Janiac‘s 2021 series trilogy, which consists of Fear Street Part One: 1994, “Fear Street Part Two: 1978” and “Fear Street Part Three: 1966“.
