Sylvester Stallone is back with a new film, “Alarum.” The filming of the film is currently in development; a few days ago, on February 22, 2024, it was reported that the shooting of the Alarum film was going on in Oxford, Ohio.
The film crew filming a prop plane crash in Houston Woods State Park is set to shoot in Uptown Oxford this weekend, which continues through March 2, 2024. This film stars Sylvester Stallone.
It was also reported that on February 27th and 28th, Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming film, ” Alarum,” will be filmed in front of the O’Pub from noon to 1 p.m.
No release date has been set yet for this film, which is filled with genres like action, crime, and thriller.
New Filming Update and BTS for Sylvester Stallone’s Spy Thriller ‘Alarum’
As per journal news reports, Now, a new update related to the filming of Alarum has come out, In which it has been confirmed that the intrigue surrounding the filming of Sylvester Stallone’s spy thriller ‘Alarum’, being shot in Ohio’s Butler County this month, seems almost as interesting as the plot.
When walking pedestrians and Horsemen came across Ohio’s Hueston Woods State Park and saw a plane in a wooded area, so they considered it an actual accident but park officials say it was for a “special project.”
The plane was removed from the scene of the plane crash after filming.
Oxford confirmed planned filming in the city with residents and shared a post but later this post was removed.
The state of Ohio awarded a $5.8 million tax credit to the area for the filming of “Alarum,” earlier this month.
The film’s story highlights the CIA hunting down two rogue spies who go off the grid. WXIX-TV cited confirmed after a City of Oxford website post was deleted, stated:-
“… all hell is unleashed on their winter honeymoon cabin resort in the woods by a consortium of international spy organizations who are after a ‘flight pill,’ aka a hard drive.”

While Oxford’s assistant city manager Jessica Green told council and leaders at the Feb. 20 meeting:-
“I just want the public to know that Sylvester Stallone will be filming a movie in Oxford … They will have our fire and EMS team there because they might have a small explosion, and there would be filming around town.”

The leaders said they had worked daily with the production company on timings, parking, and other details.
Also, let us tell you that due to the filming of the upcoming film Alarum, a crowd gathered at the locations in Oxford on Tuesday to watch the filming.
