Raquel Welch died on 15 Feb 2023 morning in Los Angeles because of a brief illness as her manager informed the news to PA news agency. “Raquel Welch, the legendary bombshell actress of film, television, and stage, passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness,” the statement read.

Raquel Welch has been married 4 times and has 2 kids. She took the name of her first husband, James Welch, and her high school sweetheart, James Welch, they got married on May 8, 1959.
They had two children together, Damon Welch who was born on November 6, 1959, and is an actor, and Latanne “Tahnee” Welch who is born on December 26, 1961, also an American model and actress like her mom. James and Raquel Welch separated in 1962.
Welch also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which she was awarded in 1996. Welch’s parents are father Armando Carlos Tejada Urquizo and American mother Josephine Sarah and had two siblings, a brother James and a sister Gayle.
She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy in 1974 for The Three Musketeers and was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Television Film for the film Right to Die (1987).
