Which Main Station was chosen for ITVX’s Series Platform 7?
Chapel Allerton, Leeds:
The Yorkshire Post reports that their photographer, Simon Hulme, captured pictures from the filming set of Platform 7, which took place at Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Most of the exterior scenes and some interior scenes were shot here.
Leeds is a city in Yorkshire‘s northern English county that is famous for its industrial area, bars, and live music venues.

Shipley railway station in West Yorkshire:
Shipley railway station is one of the series’ filming locations, as some of the distinctive images of the platforms and trains at this station match some of the scenes in the series.
In the photos shown above, the image on the left side is the real image of Shipley railway station, and its opposite right side is the photo of Shipley railway station, which was shown in the series.
The series crew may have used the facilities of a studio to show the interior of the station shown in the film, such as the entrance hall and corridors.
Note: The novel “Platform Seven” by Loise Dougherty, on which the series is based, was set on Platform 7 at Peterborough station. The filming unit may also have used Platform 7 at Peterborough station for filming.

Phil is correct. The shots of the station cafe are definitely Keighley station. I compared video I took last year with the scenes from the series and there’s no doubt.
Station was Severn Valley steam railway in Kidderminster.
