Santorini, Greece

The filming of ‘Love’s Greek to Me’ was held on the island of Santorini and was shot in Oia which is a coastal town on the northwestern tip of the island. Oia is one of the main locations for the film. It is a place that was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC.
After the eruption all the edifices in the city are whitewashed and carved into the rocks overlooking the caldera, making it look as if they were carefully placed one after the other in steps.
The production team went into the city for filming and used the Canaves Oia Luxury Resort for the filming of the wedding scenes, and the rest of the city for taking exterior shots.
Bulgaria
Filming of Love’s Greek to Me mainly occurs in the Balkans. This is a region located in Europe and Bulgaria is a country in the Balkans. Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria, Bulgaria consists of a sea coast, a mountainous interior, and rivers including the Danube.
This well-known place is home to a rich heritage of Greek, Slavic, Ottoman, and Persian influences, and cultural mixings such as this include traditional dance, music, and costumes.
