The filming of film ‘The Swimmers’ was filmed all over Turkey, Belgium, England, Greece, Brazil, Germany, and Syria, specifically in Istanbul, Aegean Region, Brussels, London, Lesbos, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, and Damascus.

2. Aegean Region, Turkey

Many scenes of the movie were filmed on the beaches in the Aegean Region and particularly in the İzmir Province. The scene in which the refugee boat arrived at Lesbos was taped at the Badem Buku beach, and as per reports, the entire record of the sea journey of the refugees was shot within one week.
