Reigning Victorious: Hyeri and Park Se Wan Wrap Up Filming for High-Spirited Cheerleading Flick ‘Victory’

The upcoming Youth and Sports Korean movie ‘Victory’ has wrapped up filming with Hyeri and Park Se Wan.

Filming of the film started on March 4, 2023, along with other casts which include Jo Ah Ram, Choi Ji Soo, Lee Han Joo, Baek Ha Yi, Kwon Yu Na, Yeom Ji Young, and Park Hyo Eun.

The film is set in 1999, in a small village in Geoje, and follows a high school student named Pil Sun who has a passion for dancing along with her best friend Mi Na and two other girls who decide to join their school’s cheerleading club named “Millennium Girls”.

The club also includes other members a transfer student Se Hyun who did cheerleading activity at her prior school in Seoul. All the member of the “Millennium Girls” cheers for each other in the team with enthusiasm along with dealing with life as teenagers in the small village.

Hyeri, who played the character of Pil Seon, shared during the filming process and said, “During the filming period, I could feel the youth and passion intact. I think a great work will be created that combines the sensibility of the end of the century in 1999 with the beautiful scenery of Geoje.

“In particular, I have high expectations for the cheerleading scene that I worked hard on. I would like to express my gratitude to the ‘Millennium Girls’ members and all the actors and staff who made wonderful work together.” she added.

Park Se Wan as Mina in the film also shared her experience, and said, “This work was chosen based on the warmth felt in the scenario. It was very warm while playing ‘Mina’. I am so grateful to the actors who worked hard and the best staff who filmed the last point by my side.”

“Everyone loved with one heart and one mind and did their best, so on the last day of filming, I was able to shout ‘Goodbye, Mina!’ I will fold the beautiful memories together and keep them. I was really happy, thank you, and I love ‘Victory’! I want to show them quickly.” she added.

The film is set to release in 2024. Get ready for a youthful movie to watch.
