Cornwall, England, UK
Cornwall is an administrative division situated on the wild and untouched southwestern extremity of England. This particular region serves as a significant and principal setting for filming the series.
As the original Poldark novels by Winston Graham, it was also set in Cornwall so it makes sense that filming for the TV series also took place within Cornwall to make it look realistic and authentic.
Kynance Cove is a cove on the eastern side of Mount’s Bay in Cornwall and is part of the Lizard Heritage Coast in the south and one of the filming locations of the series. The most beautiful beaches in all of Cornwall are present here in this location and also appeared several times in the series.
